The Gracie’s Guys and Gals Dance Studio, directed by Grace Myles, is celebrating 37 years this coming June. The show troupe competes regionally and nationally and are national champions. GG Show Troupe has received the overall top scores and entertainment and choreography awards at many competitions.

Rhythm Club is a middle school drumming group made up of 6th, 7th and 8th graders from Spring Ridge Middle School. They have performed for Governor Wes Moore, as well as up and down the east coast, including at Washington Wizards Games, in New York City, and at Disney World. Rhythm Club is directed by Bonnie Beavan.

A bluegrass band from Southern, Maryland Port Tobacco Pickers define traditional bluegrass with a twist. With a solid line-up of banjo, bass and acoustic guitar they cover grassy standards with traditional and eclectic instruments, including flute, harmonica, and recorder that breathe new life into age old songs.

The College of Southern Maryland Chamber Choir is an auditioned group of singers from CSM and the local community with a commitment to artistic excellence that performs throughout the year at CSM and other venues in Southern Maryland. They perform both secular and sacred music from a variety of styles and genres, representing many eras and cultures, with a commitment to artistic excellence. You will hear a variety of styles and genres of music for small ensembles, both secular to sacred, ranging from historical madrigals to contemporary pop tunes.

With more than two decades of playing professionally, she loves to keep the tunes rolling with an eclectic mix of hits and lesser-known gems from the greats.

The Leonardtown High School Orchestra earns superior ratings at local, state, and national festivals. They have been invited to perform for the governor and as a demonstration group at the Maryland Music Educators Association conference. They are a fixture as Saturday afternoon performers at the Saint Mary’s County Fair in September, and they play a wide range of musical styles.

The Leonardtown High School Jazz Ensemble is one of two Jazz Bands in the LHS Band Program and consists of students in grades 9-12. They have performed at community events around St. Mary’s County, pleasing crowds with favorites, like “Welcome to the Jungle,” “All Star,” and “Birdland,” among others.
